Beware of the Auto-Renewal which you cannot control.

I wanted to switch over from T'Bird afer the new version caused many problems still unsolved. So I bought a subscription based on all the glowing reports I saw. However, not one addressed the fact that there is no option available nor information on their website to manage your subscription account. Nor any mention ab out auto renewals, like all reputable companies provide. I spent more than an hour searching the website and the software searching for how to disable the auto renew. Finally, I started seeing complaints from other people about the same subject. I am the only one using my PC and I do not like auto renews, in case anything would happen to me and my wife would need to fight to get the money back after she saw it charged.
In frustration, I cancelled the subscription within 5 hours and requested a refund. They did refund the money.

I have been using mailbird since 2014

I have been using mailbird since 2014. Then I switched to the genuine Gmail on chrome but quickly came back to Mailbird.
The ergonomy is very efficient, all the gmail features are present but it is so handy to add links to so many other apps including whatsapp, skype, calendar of course,... find out by yourselves, you will be impressed
It is robust. The only issue I have been facing is some update not being successful. I got an immediate support, a link to download visual C++ and done.
Try it and enjoy they invite friends

Update problems

I had update problems with Mailbird due to a software issue on my computer. Tech support told me how to correct the problem. The reply to my inquiry was faster than I expected. Maibird has always given me excellent support!

Best mail client for those with multiple emails

Have been using Mailbird for a couple months now. I decided on it because of the unified inbox, clean interface, and good range of account support (gmail, outlook, etc). So far, it has been superb.

Support has been very responsive, helpful, and friendly. They even worked with me to set up business license pricing that worked well for me.

The facebook messenger/slack/instagram/etc... "integrations" are really just browser panes, but who cares, you don't buy the best email client because it can do everything... you buy it because it's the best at email.

I've never before been this on top of ALL my emails. It's awesome.
